Day 1 Pick up from airport or respective place in Delhi.
Pick up from Delhi airport or from respective hotel and transfer to Agra in an Air
Conditioned comfortable vehicle. Drive to Agra city in approximately 03 hrs via
Yamuna expressway. En-route, you may stop for a short break or some refreshments.
Arrive at Agra
Reach Agra city and meet our representative, who will help you in check-in procedure
at the hotel and rest. After rest, first you will visit Taj Mahal - the marble
marvels, the ultimate requiem of love, a gift to his beloved wife, symbol of love
built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Then, proceed for demonstration of Marble inlays
Art, (the splendid craft of Agra) where you can experience the same technique of marble
art done on Taj Mahal.
Visit Agra Fort
Visit Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site, the fort is also known as Lal Qila,
Fort Rouge and Red Fort of Agra. Agra Fort was built by Raja Badal Singh and the fort
was previously called Badalgarh Fort. Later on, Lodi dynasty captured the fort and after
that the fort came under Mughal dynasty who renovated the fort. The fort is constructed
in Agra and is around 3 kms. away from Taj Mahal. The fort is constructed with red
sandstone which was brought from Rajasthan.
After lunch, visit Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah which is a Mughal mausoleum
in the city of Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Often described as a "jewel box",
sometimes called the "Baby Taj", the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft
of the Taj Mahal.
By evening, you are free for leisure activities at your hotel OR else,
you can enjoy unending shopping of Indian handicrafts in Agra. Agra is known for it's
fabulous handicrafts and it's major handicraft products besides inlay work are: Indian
Spices, Leather items, Brassware, Carpets, Jewellery and Embroidery Work, etc.
Back to hotel you are free for the leisure activities on your own, overnight stay.
Day 2 Agra to Chambal Safari - Day Trip
After breakfast, Drive to Chambal Safari. Enjoy the tour of Chambal by watching birds
Skimmer, ruddy shell duck, Red-crested Pochard, River Tern etc, gharial (a species of
crocodile , cranes birds , tortoise , Enjoy 1-2 hours boating in Chambal river where
you will spot marsh crocodiles, the endangered Dolphin and Tortoise. Back to Agra and
enjoy the lunch. Later relax.
OPTIONS: Indian home visit OR Sunset view of Taj Mahal
In the evening You can have a choice of an Indian home visit where you may experience
Indian culture. You can put henna on your hand along with dinner. Cooking demonstration
is one such activity that has recently been incepted to give an insight inside the
variety of flavors and peculiarities of Indian recipes. This fun-filled activity not
only includes a cooking demo by our skilled female chef but also a warm meal with an
Indian family where you will get an opportunity to interact and understand the Indian
culture, values and traditions from different perspective OR is that
you can experience the beauty of Taj Mahal during sunset from Mehtab Bagh. By evening
you are free for leisure activities.
Back to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3 Agra to Delhi City
After breakfast, check out and drive to Delhi. Reach Delhi and visit Qutub Minar
which is the 2nd tallest Minar situated in Delhi. It is about 73 meters high and built of
marble and red sandstone. It is a five storey building. The stairs of the complex has about
375 steps. Initially, Qutub Minar is an Islamic Monument engraved with Arabic messages is a
UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After visiting Qutub Minar, enjoy delicious lunch in a local recommend restaurant or 5
start hotel. (One has to inform in advance so that we can book the table on your name in
the restaurant of a 5start hotel).
Then, proceed to visit Humayun Tomb and en-route visit Lotus temple.
Later drop at Delhi Airport or your desired location.
